Threading is a natural method of hair removal, an ancient technique that involves the use of cotton thread twisted into a loop to remove hair with excellent results. It is the perfect complimently course to take prior to or alongside our brilliant brow training or just to develop your brow shaping techniques and facial hair removal with confidence and competency. This threading training uses the "traditional method" (hand and mouth). It is quick to learn this technique and with practise can be a profitable service to add to the salon treatment menu.
Qualification
You will gain an accredited certificate upon completion of the course and successful practical assessment on the final day of the course. You will be able to work professionally within the industry and charge paying clients. This course is accredited by BABTAC (British Association of Beauty Therapy and Cosmetology) which allows you to obtain Public Liability insurance. For continuing professional development this course carries 22 CPD credits.

Course Requirements
Threading training is a 1 full day of practical training. Students must be prepared to practice on each other. In preparation for the course studetns will need to grow their body hair (leg or arm) and eyebrows. Students will commence practice on body hair to perfect their techniques before moving to the lip or side of face and brow area. It is essential that you provide a model for the afternoon practice session on the training day for practical assessment. Models must have a minimum of 2 weeks hair growth and have must not have any contraindications to threading.
Assessment Information
The course consists of theory and practical, students competence and confidence will improve over time, with regular practice to perfect the skills taught on the day. Certificates will be awarded to candidates on successful completion of practical assessment and confirmation 6 case studies.
