The CIDESCO course is suitable for students of any age, I was a mature student at 44 and my daughter Kristina was 18 years old when we trained in 2009. The course was intensive, both practically and theoretically with a constant emphasis on professional standards. Graduating from Bronwyn Conroy Beauty School as a Cidesco therapist gave us an opportunity to change our careers and lifestyle ... We moved to Melbourne in Australia, where I have been running my own skin clinic for the last 3 years and my daughter Kristina currently works in successful skin laser clinic. When people ask me advice on where to train for a career in beauty I tell them Bronwyn Conroy is the only way! Since training there in 2003 I went on to open my salon at the age of 21 and testimony to the firm foundation of training I received at Bronwyn Conroy I have just celebrated my 11th year. During this time it has been noted that past students of Bronwyn Conroy stand out in there ability in comparison to their peers and they would always be my choice for filling job vacancies. A massive thank you to Geraldine and her team for the part they have played in my career and for all their on going support over the years.

Geraldine McGuigan and her team are highly regarded within the beauty industry. I came from a banking background and joined the course with no previous experience whatsoever. I thoroughly enjoyed my CIBTAC/CIDESCO beauty therapy course and many of the short courses Bronwyn Conroy also provide. I have great appreciation to both Geraldine and Bronwyn Conroy Beauty School for what I have achieved in the last 11 years in the Beauty Industry. I attended The Bronwyn Conroy Beauty School in Belfast in September 1998. It was a very tough year in which I struggled a lot with the theory but thanks to Geraldine's encouragement and my determination I graduated in July of 1999. I opened my own Beauty Salon 'Secret Essence' at the age of 20 in 2001, followed by Slieve Gullion Springs Day Spa, Mullaghbawn in December 2007 both of which are going from strength to strength. Training at Bronwyn Conroy Beauty School gave me a deeper passion for make-up. So I followed on and completed an Advanced Make-up and a Fashion and Photographic Make-up Diploma.

Having just graduated from university I knew there was still a part of me that longed to be in the beauty industry, so with not a second thought I enrolled in Bronwyn Conroy Beauty School full time course. It was a tough year but if you have the passion for beauty you will sail through it along with the unlimited help from Geraldine and her team. The standard of training I received opened so many doors for me and I know will continue to do so in the future. I could not recommend this school enough. With my love for advanced treatments I now work and manage Therapie Clinic Newry and continue to expand my knowledge in the industry.

I cannot recommend Bronwyn Conroy Beauty School highly enough to anyone wanting to pursue a serious career in beauty. Geraldine and the school are very highly thought of within the beauty industry and it really has been an honour to say I trained with them. I graduated in 1999 and was amazed at how many doors were opened to me with the standard of the training I received. This gave me amazing confidence in myself and my work, and I soon became assistant manager in a prestigious day spa in Lisburn for the last 13 years, even having a beauty column in a local paper. After getting through to the final of Manicurist of the Year at the british beauty and spa awards held in London, 2009. I was offered the chance to become an educator for Gerrard International, and have since went on to recently become the regional area manager for the company, distributing Jessica nail care and Mii cosmetics throughout the UK.

In Ireland the name Bronwyn Conroy is synonymous with the beauty industry, and whenever I decided to train as a beauty threapist the Bronwyn Conroy school in Belfast was the obvious choice. From the outset I knew that I had madethe right decision. Geraldine was the consummate professional in everything that she did, and she strives to instil this professionalism in every student that passes through the school. Since graduating in 2000 I have foundthat merely mentioning the fact that I trained at Bronwyn Conroy has opened doors for me. In this time I have owned my own salon and worked as a representative for a leading skin care distribution company. Finally in 2007 I returned to the school as a lecturer. After graduating from Bronwyn Conroy Beauty School in 1999 having completed my CIBTAC and CIDESCO training I began my career as a beauty therapist. The training Ireceived at Bronwyn Conroy was excellent and because I learnt so much from the school I was able to open my own salon in 2001 at just 19 years old! I wanted to be a highly skilled beauty therapist with a qualification to be proud of so I chose Bronwyn Conroy Beauty School to do my CIDESCO qualification. Studying in a professional and high tech environment with experienced tutors meant I very quickly gained knowledge in the latest treatments techniques. The course was delivered at a challenging pace, but Geraldine and her team always made sure it was delivered in an enjoyable and friendly way. I was amazed at how quickly I learned and felt confident and competent within a very short time. Because a CIDESCO qualification from BCBS is so highly regarded within the industry, I found employment at a 5 star spa immediately after graduating. I now run a successful business on the north coast offering high end treatments as well as a nail bar within a fashion boutique two days a week. I could never have dreamed I would have such a fulfilling and varied career in beauty industry. Inspired by my time at Brownyn Conroy and am just about to embark in some further training to become a tutor in beauty therapy.

My experience with Bronwyn Conroy truly was the best decision I made, as far as private beauty training goes Bronwyn Conroy Beauty School it is by far a standard above the rest and I speak from the heart as I truly enjoyed my time studying there.  I studied the full time CIBTAC and CIDESCO course over 10 months and the tutors were there to help in every way possible.   I have been a beauty therapist for almost 4 years, after I graduated I worked for Steiner cruise ships across Australia and now manage a successful salon.  Bronwyn Conroy gave me the skills to to succeed with professionalism and to a high standard and I truly love my job.  This is all thanks to Geraldine and her fantastic tutors, they gave me so much encouragement and I can't thank them enough.

Geraldine McGuigan and her team at Bronwyn Conroy are extremely professional and expect very high standards from their students, because of this I graduated with Honours in 2004. I always had a passion for nails and make-up; after being made redundant I decided I needed a career change. I already had a degree in business and I wanted a beauty course that equalled it so I enrollled on the  CIBTAC Beautician course. At the age of 38, I opened my own salon and I am proud to be entering my 10th year in business.
